Fernando Derossi is currently pursuing the MBA at MIT as Sloan Fellow in innovation and Global Leadership. He also holds a Master in Strategic Marketing Management, a degree in Communications and a Postgraduate at INSEAD.
Fernando has over 12 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to develop strategies and operations as well as managing worldwide businesses, P&L, portfolio and marketing organizations in global companies. His last roles were: Regional Asset and Sr. Business Manager - Latin America at SYNGENTA AGRO, Product Marketing & Market Intelligence Manager at BASF AGRO Division and before that, Product Development Coordinator at GENERAL ELECTRIC.
Fernando is Passionate about creating solutions meant to solve complex problems in society aiming to change and simplify the way people interact and operate through technology. At present, he focused on several new digital economy projects with the vision of enabling users to do business, connecting world class high tech with industries like agribusiness, retail, finance, media and education. He loves playing basketball, practicing mindfulness, travel and learn from different cultures.
