Komal Patel VP of Communications

Komal is a first-year MBA student at Sloan pursuing the Sustainability Certificate. Prior to Sloan, Komal worked at Dalberg Advisors, an international development and social impact advisory firm, in Europe and Asia on topics including global health and nutrition, smallholder agriculture, and climate change. She is passionate about the intersection of food, health, and sustainability—both environmental and social. Komal holds a Bachelor’s in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.


Jordan Landis VP of Communications

Jordan is a first year LGO Fellow pursuing an MBA and SM in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to MIT, he managed international engineering projects in the energy sector, mainly focused on developing international supply chains and manufacturing capabilities in South Africa. He came to MIT to move into a sustainability-oriented career and is excited to be returning to his Lancaster Pennsylvania farming roots by pursuing his interest in the food & agriculture space. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.


Yosuke Inoue VP of Innovation

Yosuke is a first-year MBA passionate about innovation and technological solutions in food and agriculture sector. Prior to Sloan, he led the establishment of brand-new fertilizer joint venture in Myanmar and directed the firm as the Chairman of the Management Committee. His focus is on sustainability and market development in food, beverage and agriculture industry, especially in Asia. Yosuke holds a B.A. in History from the University of Tokyo, Japan.


Cristina Bleicher VP of Innovation

Cristina is a first-year MBA student at Sloan and is passionate about creating more sustainable and ethical supply chains across industries, including the food and agriculture industry. Prior to Sloan, Cristina worked on the credit team at Root Capital, a nonprofit impact investment fund that works to unlock growth opportunities for small agricultural businesses in Latin America and Africa. Cristina also spent her summer before Sloan as a finance consultant for a food distributor in Kigali, Rwanda. After graduating Boston University with a degree in Economics, International Relations, and Spanish, Cristina spent three years as a consultant with Ernst & Young, focusing on regulatory implementations and process improvement initiatives. Cristina is an avid outdoorswoman and, as a vegan, loves recreating decadent recipes with plant-based ingredients.

Zhenya Karelina VP of Marketing

Zhenya is a first-year MBA student at Sloan passionate about building healthier and more sustainable food systems. In particular, she wants to learn how innovation and technology could increase consumer and corporate engagement with agricultural practices. Before Sloan, she did market research & consulting in the pharmaceutical industry. Zhenya holds a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Wellesley College.


Ana Candida Secco VP of Marketing

Ana was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she owned and managed a specialty cake and cupcake shop for almost 8 years. Last year she moved to San Francisco for a one year program at UC Berkeley and did her summer internship at the food startup Imperfect Produce, working on a project for the VP of Customer Experience. She is passionate about the food industry, sustainability and innovation in the sector. She holds a B.A. in Business Administration and MBA in Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. On her spare time, she loves baking (of course!), cooking and practicing sports.
